CHRISTIAN LIFE CENTER ASSEMBLY OF GOD

Pastor Tom Poulin - Senior Pastor

Pastor Tom is married to Cheryl and they have two children, Jeffrey and Shanna.
Education: University of New Brunswick, Civil Engineering 1980-1982, Eastern Pentecostal Bible College, Theology Diploma 1982-1985, Ordained from Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada 1996, Ordained with the New York District of Assembly of God 2005
Experience: Senior Pastor 1992-1998 Bethel Pentecostal Church, South Bolton, Quebec, Canada. Senior Pastor 1998-2004 Cornwall Pentecostal Church, Cornwall, Ontario. 2004-2005 traveled with "Watoto", an African Children's Choir, Senior Pastor 2005-2010 Expressway Assembly of God, Buffalo, New York. 

Pastor Cliff Heath – Assoicate Pastor-Youth

Pastor Cliff Heath and his wife Janet joined the Christian Life Center family in 2010. Their children are Darren age 12 and Nathan age 9. All are avid Pittsburgh Steelers fans.

Cliff was born in Niles, OH and graduated in 1990 from Niles McKinley High School.  Met his wife Janet who was from Hartford, OH in 1993 they were married in July of 1997 and then moved to Kent, OH.  Moved to Ellet in 2000 where they presently live today.  Cliff enjoys spending time with his family, bowling and riding his Harley whenever he gets a chance.  He is excited about the opportunity God has given him to be the new youth pastor at Christian Life Center.  

Pastor Cliff and Janet attended Akron Springfield Assembly of God where they received their call to ministry. Both have received their license to preach from the Assemblies of God in 2010. 

Cliff and Janet most recently served as Youth Sponsors at Akron Springfield Assembly of God before coming to CLC. Pastor Janet serves as CLC’s Christian Education Director. Her passions include working with children and assisting with the Youth Ministry. 

Pastor Lance Crow – Lay Minister & Care Ministry

Lance is married to Terri and they have three children, Lance Jr., Michelle and Heather. Lance and Terri will soon be grandparents for the first time.

One of his first duties here at Christian Life Center was custodian.  After becoming a member he served as a Deacon and as Royal Ranger Commander.

Lance recieived his Lay Minister License in 2005. Serves as CLC Pastoral Care Minister and is part of the CLC Staff. He is  involved in the Men’s Ministry Band of Brothers, he also serves as ushers.

Pastor Jim Pierce – Lay Minister and Worship Leader

Pastor Jim is married to Lori Pierce and they have two children, James and Jeremy.

Pastor Jim is currently serving as Lay Minister. He is attending classes through the Ohio District Assembly of God - Ohio School of Ministry (OSOM). Jim is also serving as Worship Leader.

Who We Are?

Christian Life Center Assembly of God

CLC is a growing Spirit-Filled, Christian congregation that  has a long history of serving the people of Kent, Ohio. We hold services on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings; Saturday evening Intercessary, plus Small Groups  throughout the week in various locations.

We reach out in practical ways through our 'His Hands Extended' benevolence ministriy; visit people in the hospitals, jails, and nursing homes; and reach out to Kent State University students as their family away from home.
