Miracle Revival with Wes Daughenbaugh

Wes Daughenbaugh is a veteran full time minister with 31 years of experience, ordained with the Assemblies of God, Oregon District. He lives in Creswell, Oregon and travels nationally and internationally as a Teacher/Evangelist.

He has two distinct anointings of the Holy Spirit. First is the teaching/preaching anointing that enables him to present profound truths in simple language with practical applications and memorable illustrations. The second is an all-purpose anointing of Holy fire in his hands. People feel the power of God coming into them when God “turns it up.” Many are baptized in the Holy Spirit, set free from oppression, physically healed or receive new anointings as the Holy Spirit manifests in this way.

Wes has a great love for the local church. In his early ministry he served seven years as a young associate pastor, more like an on staff evangelist. During that time God used him to build a bus ministry that brought in over 500 children per week for the last three years he was on staff. Over 1,200 were visited each week by his staff.

He loves pastors and can relate to them because he founded a church in Omaha, NE and pastored it for 15 years. Later he pastored for three years in Creswell, Oregon. The church in Omaha started from zero and reached a high of over 400. One half million dollars were given to missions during those years. The church was left with approximately $1,000,000 in assets.

Wes has had listener supported radio ministry for approximately 18 years and has authored one booklet that has been reprinted in 17 languages with over 250,000 copies in print. His book THE HEART GOD HEARS is a classic on how to overcome the things that hinder the prayer life of the average Christian. The total of tracts, booklets, tapes, books and brochures he has published total over 750,000 copies.

During the years Wes has traveled holding revival seminars where many hundreds have been baptized in the Holy Spirit. Often 10% of the audience have received the Baptism in his meetings.

His wife is named Bonnie. They’ve been married for over 31 years. She does support work for the ministry from the home base. Together they are the parents of two lovely daughters, Heather (24) and Charity (15). They have one grandson, Trevor.

Wes has preached on radio in  England and South Africa and preached in person in Guatemala, Canada, Pakistan and India. He is a specialist in bus ministry and has started many of them in churches across 14 western states.

Jim & Meg Thacker Missionaries to Africa

April 28 at 7PM

Jim and Meg Thacker have been serving as team leaders for the missionaries to the nation of Burundi in Central Africa. God directed them to open up the missionary work for the Assemblies of God in this country in July of 2005. The Thacker’s ministry in Burundi has focused primarily in the three areas of evangelism through church planning, construction of church buildings, and the training of pastors and spiritual leaders. Because of God’s grace and power, the Lord has helped the Thacker’s to see great things accomplished. Since 2005, thousands of people have been saved, 47 new churches have been planted, 20 new church buildings have been constructed, and a fulltime ministry leadership training center and an extension bible school have been started & established.

Jim & Meg have been World missionaries for 18 years and have three daughters, ages 26, 24, and 22. Jim holds a doctorate in leadership and Theology from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.

CLC Prayer Walk - May 2 at 3PM

Christians across Portage County are praying for a “spiritual, social and economic transformation” of our county. Kent “Prayer Walk” is scheduled to provide opportunities for all Portage County Christians to join together in prayer.   

The Kent "Prayer Walk” is Sunday May 2^nd in Kent, from 3:00-5:00 PM.

Starting at the Home Savings Plaza in downtown Kent, proceeding onto the Kent State campus, and back downtown. For details call the church at 330-678-9234.
